It was an easy one this morning…The Hitman would have loved it.
1 mile run into uptown…we were a bit slow if I’m honest, did it in 7:10. Stopped for some merkins to tighten up the group, then onwards to the Mutha. Plank at the bottom for instructions…simple as they were: try to make it up 5-6 times, and it’s got to be some orderly rotation of forwards up the spiral, backwards up the spiral, and up the stairs with 20 sumo squat jumps at the top and 30 merkins at the bottom, and we’ll go as many as we can for 20-25min.
so we did that, as awful as it was, then headed back. even got 2 minutes of extra credit and you didn’t have to show up early, you’re welcome.
bunch of fast dudes and really, it was impossible to keep track of who was out front with all that was going on. but, guessing it was some combination of lee, curly, shank, horny, cindy, swamp, cmd.
color: we got cindy to bend at the waist, not at the knees, but I’m not certain he left the ground a single time. horny took the short route (no pun intended) on the inside curb, monkey was just generally jovial about the whole thing, shank didn’t sprain any more ankles, frat girl can’t figure out why it’s been so long, and slaughter likes getting close to many other sweaty men. so, all-in-all, I think it delivered.
