Thanksgiving Convergence next Thursday @ AGMS (7-8AM) http://f3metro.com/2017/11/16/metros-turkey-day-beatdown-2017/
CRM Turkey Drive – still time to contribute. Due to the logistics of storing and delivering 500 turkeys, financial donations preferred. Theory is $10 = 1 Turkey. On Black Friday, Carrier will do 1 burpee for each turkey F3 Metro donates. Make your donations here: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=E9J3CX4HFN9MG
Metro Holiday Party will be here before you know it. RSVP if you are attending. Details here: http://f3metro.com/2017/11/16/2017-charlotte-metro-holiday-party/
As Pax gathered this AM prior to 7AM, conversation naturally turned to the Turkey Drive. Carrier stated the cost of Turkey increased since last year. Buzzcock countered that he saw on the Today Show where the price of Turkey was down. Does that mean there is Turkey shortage in CLT driving up the prices? Chico walked up at this point and simply stated he wouldn’t bet on Turkey Futures in November.
First time sharing the Gloom with Sleepy. Didn’t get to meet him until COT because he was in front of YHC all morning.
Great to have Ribeye back in the Gloom. He’s coming back from another stint on the IR. We are all so much better with Ribeye’s enthusiasm, encouragement and positive attitude. Thanks Brother for taking us out!
Yesterday, YHC attended Tantrum’s lead at Fortress and he returned the favor today. Wish YHC could have brought 1/2 the pain Tantrum inflicted on me yesterday but didn’t come close.
Not sure how often Chowda hits Cherokee but YHC appreciated him posting today. Tried to keep up with him on round 1 of the Cherokee 600 and soon realized that wasn’t happening.
Almost effortlessly, Boomer was first one to finish the Cherokee 600. Dude is a beast.
Think Eye Chart sandbagged the Cherokee 600 so he could dominate at the end. He was the lead dog on the Bear Crawl, AYG sprint and Crab Walk.
Side note: Chico brought up the fact many existing exercises have been renamed. He cited the Polish Get-Down as an example to which Eye Chart claimed was what he used to do before he got married.
When Deertick and Carrier weren’t promoting the CRM Turkey Drive, they were crushing it today.
Despite not wearing a neckerchief, it was good to see Buzzcock. He’s a throwback to the 1980’s and should be treasured for it.
YHC had multiple Garmin issues today. Wish Belk had been there to save the day… Boomer reports we ran 3.1 miles which isn’t bad considering we never left the Mint.
Appreciate the Pax’ support today. Thanks to Tantrum and Cannoli for the keys.
See you at the Convergence on Thursday!
