With A Little Help From My Friends

The BackBlast:

Before we started: 3 things

  • The idea is to get better, not to get hurt. So if you feel like you may be injuring yourself, back off. We want you out here next week.
  • Pay attention to the commands for leading an exercise. I asked some of you to lead today. (I’m a lazy Q!)
  • Finish your cigarettes before we start.

Started out with Warmup in the parking lot. Moseyed to McNinch Street wall for People’s Chair-air press, 15 Donkey Kix OYO, People’s Chair-Muhammad Ali, 15 Donkey Kix OYO, People’s Chair-Milkers, 15 Donkey Kix OYO.

Next to end of W 1st street, circle up for a few more exercises.

Next to the parking lot behind the Condos. Partner up. 1 partner runs to the building and back while other partner does an exercise. Between the two partners: 100 Merkins, 100 Squats, 100 Flutters. Monkey Feet demonstrated the hand-stand. You can do that too if you don’t smoke!

Next to Elliott Street and then down Elliott Street, across the path to the gravel lot. I handed off the Q for a couple exercises to a veteran F3 Person.

Next to the black fence by the paved lot for Paper Doll and Calf Lifts. Then Bear Crawl and Crab Walk across paved parking lot. I handed off the Q again.

Next to the rock pile on the parking lot (624 S Cedar St.) for choose-a-rock and a few exercises led by members of the Pax. Spoons helped with instructions on the commands and cadence.

Back to the start. Time’s Up! It went fast!

Great crowd today! Great Comradery!
