Pain don’t hurt

11 men fought through a mild rain to get better this morning.  It went something like this:

left out of lot, left onto Kings and long mosey to Edgehill park.  Partner up at the playground.

Lap 1 – 10 pullups each then head in different directions for a lap around the park.  Meet at far end for 20 partner derkins then complete the lap.

Lap 2 – same as above but 20 partner derkins and 20 partner assisted situps at far end.

Lap 3 – same as above but 20 partner derkins, 20 partner situps and 10 burpees at the far end.

20 russian twists IC to collect the six.

Out of Edgehill park towards Kings.  Stop in covered medical center parking lot for 10 merkins/10 diamonds/10 wide arms/10 stagger right/10 stagger left and 50 lbc’s OYO.

Left onto Kings and start mosey back towards home.  Stop at random intersection for 10 merkins/10 diamonds/10 wide arms/10 stagger right/10 stagger left and 50 lbc’s OYO.

Mosey to random 2 story parking deck on corner of East Blvd.  Down the stairs into the covered section for 10 merkins/10 diamonds/10 wide arms/10 stagger right/10 stagger left and 50 lbc’s OYO.

Up East & into Freedom park to the stop sign.  50 lbc’s OYO then take it back to the gravel lot for 10 burpees. COT

skin:

The conditions this morning were far better than anticipated and in stark contrast to what will no doubt be a treacherous gloom tomorrow.  Curly was the speed today & was way out front on the Edgehill loops.  Also tclaps to him for introducing Edgehill to the Freedom park off-campus repertoire – it’s a solid addition to the AO.  Good to have L10 back with the pax.  We covered 3.75 miles and did a bunch of merkins, abs and pullups – not bad for what was supposed to be a slopfest.  Somehow Mariah got 4.1 miles but YHC is pretty sure he uses the “Skyline” setting on his new Apple watch so those metrics are dubious at best.  Sheep disappointed squats weren’t on the menu.  Thanks to 88 for the strong takeout – something, something, something “be a better person”.

Our site Q Redd Foxx is laid up with an upper respiratory infection.  Get yourself better and thanks for the keys today.  Always an honor to lead this group.  Be safe out there.

    The Ol’ Double Douche.

Roadhouse is #7 on the Best Worst Movies Ever List. Yeah. Sandwiched between Ishtar (and The Wraith, tied at 6th) and Rhinestone.

    Did you know that?

Great lead today Doobie. Those laps sucked, but it was nice to go off campus.
