Cheetahs on the Frozen Tundra

13 men woke up to face the frozen tundra that was Sedgefield Middle School. Heres what we did:

Mosey to the school to the start of the Sedgefield Rd where we took on the Horseshoe. Started with 5 burpees and ran down Sedgefield and back up Dorchester place stopping at every side street adding one more Burpee.

From there, we went to the track and tried to avoid the ice. Four laps with four stations per lap. 10 merkins, 20 LBCs, 10 squats, 20 plankjacks. Mary for the 6.

After the track, we went to the playground for 3 rounds of pull-ups, dips and russian twists (single count this time).

After 3 rounds of 10 squats, backwards run up Elmhurst and 10 squats at the top, we were on our way back to the Horseshoe.

Replaced burpees with merkins and it was off to the races. Mary for the 6 and AYO home.

When Redd Foxxxxx pinged me at work and asked if i would be willing to sub-Q, I knew I had to accept the tap to lead. It was great to get out there in the snow and Q my first Sparta. Mariah even wore his cheetah tights in celebration of the workout. I think somebody mentioned they were crotchless, but luckily no-one could say for sure. Pâté continues to wear man tights with no shorts and pretends that it is perfectly normal. Someone should tell him otherwise.

With only 1 day of prep, I didn’t want to overcomplicate things so I kept us on campus. On the second run of the horseshoe, the true studs really showed. Doobie and Curly were flying through and weren’t fazed at all by ice and snow. Thankful nobody slipped or fell and that all 13 pax showed up back home when we had COT.

Thanks to Blackjack for the strong takeout and reminding us to be grateful for the many blessings we have and thanks for Redd Foxx for the tap. It surely wasn’t as brutal as a RF queue, but sufficient enough until he can return.

Cheetah tights? Pics or it didn’t happen. Must have dug into the M’s closer byMistake. Looks like a great led Paula, thanks again for covering for me while I’m on the mend.
