Color commentary:

Thanks to RFoxx for the Bandit Q opportunity.  Solid group of guys, several I don’t see nearly enough.  Like Nash.  He acknowledged that SIB had simply gotten too fast, said something about a couple of us aging out, but welcomed me about as warmly as a man ever should.  Highest regard for you, so thank you.  RF, Paula, and Doobie(?) snagged under 2 miles during their EC, and the rest logged about 3.5 during main event.  At Ice9’s prompting, we tried to recover some upper body strength lost years ago, and those final derkins were, well, just sad.  Lots of speed this morning, obviously Nash but also RF, Ice9, Toga, and Paula.  Anybody remember how pitifully slow Paula was when he first posted as a 22yr old?  I can remember Doobie saying how sorry he felt for the young bulldog alum.  Seems to me that consistent posting has paid off.  Blackjack would be UT proud.  Don’t think anybody managed to get hurt this AM.  Except one individual.  The Lurker got the best of a lady who didn’t seem bothered by Ice9’s sporadic grunts but was more agitated that men were running, of all places, in the street.  From my observation, the pax politely moved to one side providing room to drive by, but self-expression got the best of her as she delivered a two-fingered HVD (Fish acronym) with some passionate belly aching, horn honking, and expletives.  I contend confrontation is simply inevitable some days.  Don’t know all the history of Freedom Park pax and neighbors, but we’ll try to give the Lurker (and this special lady) a bit of a break for the next week or so.  On the bright side, I gotta believe her day could have only gotten better from that point on.  #TAP  Thanks again, RF, for the opportunity to lead and to the men who joined in acting the fool.

After this mornings events this was the most anticipated B.B. I’ve ever waited for. You captured it well. She also posted about it on NextDoor later this morning. She did apologize for the nasty language and honking but also question why we can’t use a perfectly good public park that’s yards away…. She’ll never understand. They she told us to go “eat some TidePods, you’ll get the same high as all the crazy “street” workouts you do.” #tidepodchallengeaccepted.

Stinger – always great to have you lead this group at an AO you never post to. Love the variety and nonstop pain you dish out. Thank you brother!
