7 sturdy and faithful men of Core gathered on a gorgeous Saturday morning for the annual St. Patty’s Day installment of The Murph. Easiest workout in F3 to Q. How can it be screwed up! Start with a one mile run, then in sets of 10, 20, 30 do a total of 100 pull-ups, 200 merkins and 300 squats. Then end with a one-mile run. To at least try and simulate a real Murph workout, we took turns wearing some of the 20 pound vests that the leprechauns left. As with any F3 workout, it’s “you against you”. So modifications as necessary were abundant. Once the Murph was complete, we still had a few minutes left for some Mary. To add insult to injury, wrapped it up with 10 burpees OYO.
NMM: It doesn’t seem as if this workout should produce the level of sore muscles that it does. And for some reason it didn’t kick in until Monday. Maybe the Guinness had worn off by then. Good effort by everyone and a collegial bunch of lads at that. Only a few comments about YHC’s pitiful selection of Irish music. Takeout by DRM.
