Method to the Merkin Madness

YHC set out today to deliver an arms and abs beatdown of epic proportion for the soul purpose of hardening the PAX’s beach bods in preparation for spring break.  While the mumblechatter about the monotonous repetition of exercises was intense, there was a master plan at work the PAX did not see.  In the end we cranked out 100 dips, 200 inboards, 250 merkins and 400 core reps (if you kept up with the cadence).

Here’s how we did it:

Psuedo warmup of SSH x20 (no time for the Imperial Walkers and Sharon Tower today)

Partner up for handslap merkins x20, Jacob’s Ladder inboards to 10, repeat handslap merkins x20

Mosey off to the greenway

Ticket booth – In cadence: dips x10, merkins x15, LBCs x20

Fountain – In cadence: dips x10, derkins x15, flutters x20

Sundial – In cadence: inboards x12, freddie mercury x20, merkins x10, freddie mercury x20, inboards x12

Clock Tower – In cadence: dips x10, inclines x15, russian twists x20

Sundial – In cadence: inboards x12, freddie mercury x20, merkins x10, freddie mercury x20, inboards x12

Fountain – In cadence: dips x10, derkins x10, flutters x20

Ticket booth – In cadence: dips x10, merkins x10, LBCs x20

Mosey to small parking garage to sarcastically escape the elements and appease the PAX (YHC is a man of the people)

Grinder – LBCs, Flutters, Dollys, Rosalitas on one end of the garage with merkins, burpees, balls to the wall, and Eminem’s crab peter parker on the other end

Finished off with inboards x24 to get to our 200
