G-man has been searching for the spark that would reignite the passion for the Monday morning kick-in-the-nuts known as PWW. For some reason the combination of 90 degree heat, 150% humidity, summer vacation-mode, and the 60% chance that the Muthaship will be involved had caused a slight dip in the numbers of late. Only 6 showed up for Cindy 2 weeks ago, last week only Thrust and Uncle made it out, then Swamp suddenly couldn’t take the Q this week. G knew he was in real trouble when Shank suddenly started following him on Twitter.
Just when things were at their bleakest, right before we launch, out pops PWW OG Foul Ball with this sweet-ass Boats ‘N Hoes tank, which he proceeded to hand to me to wear for my Q. And suddenly G knew everything would be ok. Now for some reason I hadn’t worn a tank since approximately 8th grade basketball, but I don’t know why I’ve been avoiding it all these years. Not only did it look fantastic, but the breathability is hard to beat. Plus Thin Slice was able to get some side-boob action on the partner carries. The benefits are endless. The idea that all you have to do to dawn this magnificent creation is to step up to Q PWW? If G ever figured out how to use Sign-Up Genius, that thing would have a waitlist for months.
Less importantly, the workout was somewhat taxing. The fact that I was war daddy didn’t help. I hadn’t seen a hill for a couple of weeks so Mutha was calling. Forwards, backwards, stairs, ramps, it always sux. Stinger was a few seconds late for the launch but had no problem finding us. He knows me too well. The Gandalf/Ballz pairing is a cheat code for partner carries. Starbuck crushed the race home til FB downshifted near the Nascar museum. All-in-all, a great start to the week.
-Thanks for the keys, G.
