Making Room for Seconds and Thirds

I want to eat my face off tomorrow, so to prepare: We warmed up with SSH x 20 (IC); Imperial Walkers x 15 (IC); Prayer Squats x 10 (IC); Plank Jacks x 10 (IC); Merkins x 10 (IC); and Jump Squats x 15 (OYO).

We moseyed up to the church at Sharon View. Circled up for tabata-style exercise (20 seconds work AYG, 10 seconds rest). Jump Lunges, Burpees, Mt. Climbers, Alternating Shoulder Taps, Jump Squats. Rinse and repeat.

Moseyed up to Charlotte Country Day to the jungle gym for another round of tabata-style exercise. Pull ups (2 sets); Chin Ups (2 sets); Merkins (2 sets); Bench Dips (2 sets).

Moseyed back down to the church at Sharon View for mary: LBC x 20 (IC), Flutter licks x 15 (IC), Freddie Mercury x 15 (IC), Heals-to-the-Heavens x 10 (IC).

Moseyed back to Carmel Park where we did one more round of tabata: Jump Lunges, Burpees, Mt. Climbers, Alternating Shoulder Taps, Jump Squats.

We ended 5 minutes early to work mind & spirit because we had body covered–and so YHC could hear himself speak and say some words on the upcoming holiday season. Namely, just a reminder to anyone who stresses over the holidays to maintain a positive attitude. Your visits can never be a good visits if you don’t let them. Don’t have the attitude that you just need to tolerate the holidays (and your company). If you see it as a chore, it will feel like a chore. Try to see the people gathered around the table as a blessing. Humble yourself, feel gratitude for the time you have together, and let yourself enjoy the moment and the people.
