Got the late call from Ballz to fill in as Q today.  Actually, got the early call last week to cover, but I forgot and needed a text reminder last night.  Makes me pine for the days before I had children and smoked cigarettes.  Had a mind like a steel trap back then and never would have forgotten something so important.  Maybe I’ll take up vaping to get some of that back.

Me: Morning EZ

EZ: Slice

Me: You headed to the Muthaship?

EZ: Well… figuring how awful it was last week, and the week prior… it only makes sense to do it again.  If Cindy or Swamp shows up, tell ’em I got a head start.

Swamp showed up two minutes later and, of course, joined him.

Let that be a lesson to all of us.  If you hate something that is probably good for you, and will likely make you stronger, just keep doing it until you don’t hate it anymore.  And then maybe, just maybe, you’ll start to love it.

The rest of us ran the regular route at varying speeds.  Ewok may or may not have puked.

There was a donut run amongst some of the PAX last Saturday.  2.5 miles, dozen Krispy Kreme, 2.5 miles.  Bunny’s brother won.  I don’t know Bunny much at all, but I ran next to him once at PWW, and that was enough to know that it is probably not a good idea to go head to head with anyone that is that close to him on the genetic chart.  Checkpoint came in second.  He’s 56 years old #WTF.  Topham rounded out the podium.  Swindy won the team competition (6 donuts each).

Thanks Ballz.  Q’ing this one is grueling, but rewarding.
