Southpark Monday workout option: Lift and Shift

Over the last few months, a crew of us (Uncle, Festus, Titan, Coldcuts, Karem, Pitino, and a few others) have been meeting on Mondays in Southpark to workout. This originated from wanting something a little faster paced than both Big Hair Monday and DiamondHead. So we thought, why not go hard bootcamp + hard KB at the same workout in an AO with close options. So yeah, we’ve cooked up a few innovations that incorporate the full #3S2T stack (Strength, Speed, Stamina, Toughness (physical) and Toughness (mental)into 1 workout.

This pre-blast is an invite to come get some of it on Monday’s if you’re looking to change up your routine or maybe the southpark location just works for you. The format we’re going with at this point is as follows: show up to the lot with your heaviest Kettlebell. We go off for a black diamond beatdown for 30 or so minutes with no bell. Upon return we hit the KB’s hard for the last 15.

  • Where: The parking lot next to Symphony Park/Dick’s in SouthPark
  • When: Monday’s @ 0530
  • What to bring: A heavy Kettlebell – 35# and up
  • Workout Type:  Bootcamp following by Kettlebell Work

If you want to post, bring a heavy bell. None of those christmas tree ornaments that have been allowed at various workouts. 35# or bust. Also, we will run. Let me know if any questions, as of now, it’s every Monday as long as our crew is showing up. Will post something if it’s not happening.
