Collision Learning

The BackBlast:

We all remember our first time, where we were, hopefully with that special someone…. Some of are still looking forward to that special day.

My first time was 6am today in a Sedgefield church parking lot with 9 dudes. Wouldn’t have had it any other way.

The Thang:
Did some warm up and went for a jog around the neighborhood. Stopped a few places to do some work and got it going.

Still figuring out this cadence thing… turns out burpees in cadence is just as bad as it sounds for everyone involved.

Ran over to the park did some dips then hit the big hill in front of the middle school for some sevens (sixes because I can’t count).

Did some other fun stuff then hit a fartlek on the way back (otherwise known as an Indian run for those who don’t respect the Swedish).

Misenheimer was also renamed Miss Him himer due to reasons we don’t have time for here.

Theme of the day was Collision learning, learning from messing up the same thing over and over until it sticks. Best way to learn is to hit your head a few times until you realize it’s more fun to do it the right way.

Thanks for all who came out and the many who assisted in the collision parts of the learning. It’s always helpful having a more experienced partner (or 9) for your first time.
