The BackBlast:

We saw a lot of runners powering thru the cold temps. Most were in groups. Yes it is the second full week of January and resolutions are still warm. That will change, its a numbers game. Those people in groups should fare better in sustaining their morning habits. I bet F3 pax will be at the top of the list of percentage sustained. I mean, who else can gather a crew of the following: 1) people u want to see 2) other people u dont want to see and 3) special guests u rarely see and dont want to miss…

It’s a great time to headlock. You either get a total nutjob to post in this weather OR u get a multiple choice test that he cant get wrong: A) post now B) post when weather changes. We win, he wins.

The Thang:
We ran in a ring: Sherwood Rd to Kings Rd, over to and thru Freedom Park, back home via Princeton/Queens/Beverly. We stopped for pain and did 2 x back exercises so thats a win. Cindy talked, Swiper talked and did exercises. 1 minute of Hollins. Fin.

Moleskin:
“special guests u rarely see” – MMOB cant be included in this category anymore at Ring Run. a regular. Still cant finish without a rest stop. He may have needed more than a minute OT to finish the route. He finished AND took the takeout. “special guests u rarely see” – EZRings. i dont post in his Cotswold AOs enough… “people u dont want to see” – there’s some obvious answers and Chalet wasnt the Q so he was fine today… “guys u want to see” – at least 8 of the 12 today… we didnt see WIB. we did see the Campos (per Cindy). We did do pullups. 4.88mi on the strava.
