The Whitney
The BackBlast:
Swingline joined for some EC, quick loop around Wintergreen with some plank jacks, swoop in for the large Pax and make quick work of the run up to Providence and Sharon Amity. My goal is to get everyone to the crosswalk, but they all didn’t make it. Circle up in front of Flywheel RIP for a quick COP of SSH, merkins, copperhead squats, and dolly. Head down into the Hotbox, everyone grab a coupon and head back to the corner of Providence and Sharon Amity, curl while you walk. Light turns green, mosey to the middle of the St Gabe’s lot and begin instructions
- Everytime you get to the middle of the lot and your coupon, you do 15 curls, 15 presses, and 15 deadlifts (not squats)
- Head to bottom of the lot for 10 burpees
- To the bottom of the hill, 20 monkey humpers (that is twice as much as 10)
- To the top of the hill, 40 dips (twice as much as 20)
- To the crosswalk for 80 LBCs (again, twice as much as 40)
- Down the steps to the coupons 15 x 15 x 15
- Repeat, but this time drop 2 burpees for 8, 16 monkey humpers, 32 dips, 64 LBCs
Call time, again aim for safety to cross at crosswalk, but with 25* men carrying cinderblocks across Providence Rd, it is hard to manage the logistics. I blame them mostly.
Hit the bottom of the hill, break the group in half.
- group one, AYG up the hill
- group 2, makhtar ndiaye’s whilst waiting
- flapjack

Boondoggle sends out a distress signal for a Q in 2 days. Little did I know, he ended up filling the entire year with that email… looks like YHC has some learning to do on this whole site-Q thing (Black Widow could use some Q’s fellas). YHC spent a week back in Louisville where he (and a slew of HIMs like KY, Grapevine, Kraut, and Tesla) helped plant a shovel flag 3ish years ago. Posted 5 days that week and the Q one day did an iteration of this workout that I liked. Whitney was the Q. Great group at the Choppa. I added some Metro sauce to it (mostly larger loop and lots of dips). I knew logistics would be tough since we needed coupons, and they were all the way over in the hotbox. I played out the plan a hundred times… or maybe like 2 times… in my head. #itsprobablyfine No Pax were harmed during the making of this workout.
Solid takeout by Swingline, always a pleasure to lead the men of Bastion. Thanks for the opportunity Boondoggle.
