There’s gold in them thar Hills!
The BackBlast:
The Blizzard (Dairy Queen on Wilkinson at 6am)
6 Pax got the week started right, staring down the barrel of a Dairy Queen and fighting the urge with burpees.
Chimay set a strong pace last week…so we decided to get our Forrest Gump on and do some running. In the spirit of our fellow Monday gloom Pax at PWW who like to run the freckles off their faces.
Off to Marlborough street we ran. The trees and streetlights were plentiful, offering nice weigh stations for diamonds and burpees. The incline was curvier than a Latin belly dancer. Much spit was left on the sidewalk.
This is a neighborhood fellas, so we did a silent cadence in our souls. Like a seal team running through the quiet night, we scared the bollocks out of the school bus driver barreling down the avenue. Go get them kids!
South Pole nearly pulled a Tommy Boy to run after the bus and hitch a ride back to base camp. But lo, Chimay wanted more pain. And like David Spade and his long golden locks flowing in the wind, we sought more pain.
Bear crawls and crab walks galore on the backside of Ashley elementary. We finished strong at the BBQ King with some Road Runners/Speed Gonzalez sprints. 52 seconds is the time to beat (6 Pax).
Woodie on the Q next week. Could be his VQ, heckling will be mandatory.
Love,
Evil
