A tradition unlike any other

Who better but to lead a Masters week workout but Charlotte Metro’s caddie, Noonan, who showed up in golf apparel, golf glove and Masters hat included, and started our workout. The workout was based on Masters trivia. Here’s what we did:

-We started off with an 89 second plank 89th Masters
-52 SSH Most Masters appearances, Gary Player
-37 squats Most cuts made, Nicklaus
-20 plank jacks Lowest total score under par* (*November), DJ
-18 merkins Lowest total score under par (April), Tiger & Speith
-5 burpees 5 winners who led wire-to-wire (Craig Wood, Palmer, Nicklaus, Floyd, Speith)
-23 heels to heaven Longest time between first and last Masters win (Nicklaus)

Then we ran to Woodlark Road and did 9 push-ups at each of the 3 speed humps and then 9 squats at each of the 6 fire hydrants. That was the first 9, so then we ran back up and did the same thing for the second 9. Then time for round 2 and did the same thing again. Guys weren’t happy but we got it done. Unfortunately we didn’t make the cut so we stopped after two rounds and ran back to where we began. Got 2.8 miles in and mastered some Masters trivia.
