The BackBlast:
The morning started quickly and never slowed down. The course was changed as the pax believed a new member was not aware of the switch due to locked gates but instead it was just an extra 4 minutes of running that Chalet made sure did not impact his original plan. He did allow us a quick 20 merkins in the school parking lot.
The Thang:
The morning consisted of quarter mile sprints through sedley, lemon tree (quiet cadence call not to awaken Bene’s fam), red foxx, sharon, sharon township ln, colony, back to sharon, and a treat at tiff’s. Some form of 20-40 merkins were waiting for us when the Q decided some of us were far enough back. Occasionally, he would allow us lbc’s as well. The treat at Tiff’s was 3 rounds of 20 Austrailian push ups (down under, get it?) with lbc’s and flutters sprinkled between. Down Carnegie blvd to Governors Hill Ln where KY suggested the only merkin not called was the Mike Tyson so being a leader for the people Chalet said grab some curb and called it out in cadence. Around the track and to the school benches to ensure nobody raises there arms this weekend a few rounds of dips were waiting for the PAX. Back to the club with 30 seconds to spare so what else other than another 20 merkins finished the morning off.
Moleskine:
Swingline, Pepe, and Red Foxx were missed by the PAX. KY did what he does and sand bagged the first 37 minutes and ran past Bulge going up Carnegie to governors hill encouraging him to pick it up. One Eye took us out and then bear experts provided best practices and other information to One Eye and Chalet as they prepare for trips to Yellowstone. After Bulge realized Flo Jo was former student, One Eye wisely stated that he might be the oldest in the PAX, but certainly he doesn’t feel like the oldest leaving.
