The BackBlast:

Tiger Dog and I got to Suffolk early to stretch, as old men are wont to do. With 4min left, it seemed like it would be us and Kee Biter. 5:45 hit and surprisingly, there were 7 PAX present. Quick mosey to the landing pad at the Light Rail – 20 SSH, 20 Merkins, 20 Imperial Walkers. Mosey down to the The Platform to do dips while our partner runs the four flights up the stairs to do 5 merkins and back down to switch. Next time is step-ups while partner goes up. Back on the trail to do everyone’s favorite – plank for 2min. Recover and mosey to Hope Community Church to rescue the coupons. Coupons over our heads, we start off and stop around the corner for some Chair Guevera’s with coupons on our thighs (too bad that Geppetto wasn’t with us). After 1.5min, back on our feet with some groans. Blocks back over heads, we start out again. Stop for 10 Block Merkins, 20 Flutters. Back up, 50 yards and it’s now raining pretty nicely – Rose is thanking God that he got those cheap, clear plastic seat covers for his SUV (just like the ones that your grandma had on her living room furniture in the ‘70’s). Another 50yds and it’s time to get dirty – back to the LOW plank. Flip it over for LBC’s. Then more flutters. Back up and block over the head for 30yds. Change it to right hand Farmer Carry. Then left hand. Back and forth for another 100yds. Stop for Curls for the Gurls. Then some Tris for the Guys. Hug the coupon to your chest and carry back to the Hidey Hole. Mosey back up Griffith towards Suffolk and pass it. Right on Poindexter and down the Trail to the AO launch pad. Finished at 2min over. Dodger is recovering from having most of his meniscus removed from his knee & the last cancer check-up passed with flying colors. Tricky Vicky is moving from Hawaii to get more private time with our favorite classical composer. Keep our wonderful Earth in your thoughts on Earth Day & don’t forget to tell the cook at Triple C that public transportation is free today and he doesn’t need the $8 that he asked for…
