The pax that posted were happy to see that they were not the only ones in the vicinity this morning. There were two adult soccer games going on, park personnel working on various projects, a number of people walking around the park, and oh yea! I almost forgot, there were about a dozen young woman working out with a clip boarder (not our Clipboard, who was not carrying a clipboard). Not that I thought it, but at least one of the pax, to remain nameless, commented that none of the young women needed anyone telling them how to get in shape – they had all been doing their homework it seemed. Cougar didn’t find any fault at all in their form. Our COT and announcements was extended long enough for the women to Indian run right by us 3 times. Cougar admired their form and cheered them on as they ran by. He was speaking for all the pax. You make up your own minds, but what does it say when the circle in COP and COT is more like a “C” of Pain and “C” of Trust. Where everyone in the “C” happened to be facing in the direction of the ladies. I couldn’t cover up the fact that it had a definite impact on my ability to count cadence. My biggest mistake was moving the pax to the baseball field. Tryon questioned that decision rightfully so. Hopefully, I made it up to everyone by taking us to the balcony seats near the picnic shelter overlooking the field. If you haven’t been to Revolution, first of all you really should, but so you know, the picnic shelter has a pretty good view of the turf field, which by chance is where the ladies were working as hard or harder than we were. Let’s just admit it – they definitely were working a lot harder than we were.
Our FNG Honey Dew was coaxed into posting today by his wife who was also doing her FNG post to FIA this morning. Not that it matters, but does FIA call someone new an FNG – “Friendly New Girl”?
