F3Dads Begins

The BackBlast:

The First Saturday of June brought forth the First F3 Dad’s workout of the Summer.  It was great to drive into Freedom park and see other dad’s there waiting for the Kid Delivered beatdown to begin.

After planting the F3 Dad’s Flag by the train, the pax circled up for the start of a COP led by Wildcat. Wildcat is a 2.0 that’s been around F3 for the last 5 years in some form or fashion. She’s starting to grow into the Q leadership role well.

With her calling a series of COP beatdown exercises like SSH, Arm Circles, Windwills and squats, the Dad Pax were smoked and the kids pax were just warming up. We quickly moved into a game of 4 corners of you call it followed up with a new game called tag and race to the flag. Basically, if you get tag then you have to race back to the flag before the tagger. If you make it before the tagger, you’re still in. Otherwise, you’re out.

We played a few rounds of Sharks and Minnows and then finished up with a tunnel of love. The tunnel of love was cool because as the person passed beneath you, you had to say something positive about them. It was fun hearing all of the positive things the kids had to say after working out for only a short while together.

We hit COT for name-a-aroma, we had 3 friendly new kids.  RedFoxx 2.0’s KickIt & Sparkles.  WhatDid 2.0 RunWild.  Great take out by Matlock 2.0 Green Anaconda.

Post COT, it was Popsicle time!!!!  The kids and dads loved it.
