Fields of Dream Nay Despair

Some bro’s of summer were DR but those of us in town played on any field we could find…

The Thang:
A lap around the football field to square of warmup: SSH, SharonTowers, Hillbillys, merkins… mosey to the major league field for legs: squats, lunges, birdfeeders. All x 2 with trips around the bases between sets… over to the AAA baseball field for merkinfest: ChuckNorris, diamonds, LarryCraigs, CarolinaDryDocks with 2 trips around the bases sprinkled in… mosey to the AA field for mary: LBCs, Heels2Heaven, AmericanHammers. One trip around the diamond regular and 1 timed!

Mosey to the greenway towards West Blvd. Stop at West for core: Travolta’s, planks, JLo’s… Mosey back to the park for sprints on the football field: 40yr, 60yd, 100yd with some mosey/10counts interspersed for optimal sprint speed… mosey (walk) to the jungle less gym for 4 sets of UvsU pull-ups with resting ActionFigures. Back to the flags for plank/table/plank. Fin.

Moleskin:
We almost headlocked the futbol guy on the football field. YHCs hope was that he was around for the sprints but alas 20min of kicking was all he had in him. My guess- he would’ve run with us… Never ask a woman her age or a middle-aged dude his time running the bases… Beethoven is gainfully employed and in the honeymoon state of workdom. Fantastic. We hope it is ur calling… Battle of the Bands tonight. Lynchpin’s 2.0 is part of “By George” at the Visualite and Beethovens classic rock band is at Snug Harbor in Midwood… None of us do enough twitchy muscle sprints. Insert running the bases and combine training on the football field.
