Good things come in threes

Before I start this week everyone is praying for @f3tantrum and his family. A friend to all of us, and if you’re reading this …the guys in this circle love you.

The Backblast- because I can….

Sometimes good things come in threes. Today in 45 minutes we went after three hills, frontwards and backwards. We celebrated 3ships that sailed the ocean blue (Columbus’s Nina, Pinta, Santa Maria on Oct 12th), Dallas Mavericks 3 pointers (18 of em last night blasting the hornets), and only 30 losses the Astros logged at home this year (it’ll be hard for the Sox to win). These random events taught us it was good to take a day off (for some of us) to celebrate this new world and take in some sports.

I showed up early and BobaFett must have slept in the parking lot, quickly the cars and bikers (Madras & Panda) rolled in. Blackjack has some sort of foam/supply chain arbitrage going on with a pickup truck filled with goodies. Look on craigslist in a week or so. Madras had his knee all bandaged up so we couldnt ruin his weekend fly fishing plans.

We moseyed over to Egypts church, 20 SSH, 12IWs, 12 Sharon Towers, 12 Merkins, 12 Peter Parkers, 12 Parker Peters.
Next we strolled on down to Shoreham to hit the three hills. The thang went like:
Hill 1- backwards up the hill, 3×12 Merkins to celebrate Columbus’s day from 10.12 in 1492. Minus the fact the Italians, Romans, Vikings, Pinkeye in his last life and others were here hundreds years prior.

Hill 2- Forwards up the hill, 3×18 Squats to chatter about the 18 three pointers the mavericks dropped on the Horn-Cats last night in pre season. Something like 127-58, but worth only looking at the box score.

Hill 3- Forwards up the hill 3×20 LBCs with foxcroft “living room voice’ chatter about the Houston Astros, Cheating at Baseball, and Coach’s lack of care for anything unrelated to the Braves.

Returno back to Providence backwards/forwards/ and south on Providence. Stop at the light and Peoples chair at the corner, in front of a church with 12xairpress & palms out and up. You looked great guys- with traffic looking on and you were in front of a church.

Moleskine-
Maybe you didnt read into it but the chatter was pretty solid today. A number of times it was said “whisper cadence” but no one really cared. It was like a reunion to see Chalet, Pomfret and Benefactor- these guys can still sprint with ease no matter how much of a head start you take on them. Madras & I rode home, grateful for all you guys and just being able to start the day with something more.
