Head west on East blvd, right on Garden Terrace, left on Loop Rd, right on Scott and to the bottom of the Wedge.  Stop for very clear, simple instructions on a 4 hill circuit: 1) Scott up to East w/10 merkins at each cross street, straight back down to bottom for 25 Freddy Mercury (double count of course); 2) Kenilworth to East w/10 merkins at each cross street, straight back down to bottom for 25 Freddy Mercury; 3) Waverly to the top, 10 merkins at each cross street, straight back down to bottom for 25 Freddy Mercury; 4) St. Pat’s grass hill – 10 merkins at top then back down for 25.  After hill #4, work way back home repeating hill #3, then #2, then #1 as time allows…back to gravel lot.

Strange things were afoot from the get go this morning.  YHC pulled into the gravel lot to find Bermuda Boy rescuing two baby owls from the middle of East blvd. Now, in many cultures, owls are seen as bad luck or omens of death.  Would rescuing a portent of death from certain death bode well for the WIB faithful today?   Short answer : no.

A perfect plan was quickly laid to waste when Bermuda and Caesar skipped exercises to get ahead then didn’t know what to do next.  They went the wrong way, lost their lead & then spent the remainder of the workout b*tching at YHC & trying to poison the pax.  Even Voorhees and Mr Bo turned against the Q.  Fortunately mediocrity allowed me to quickly position myself out of earshot.
