Lessons from Uncle Gary

Dogs with short legs can’t swim… so went another SpeedRuck with Snoop and Dredd waxing poetically of all the lessons learned over the years from Snoop’s Uncle Gary. Festus – who hales from the part of SWVA where Patrick Henry actually has 2 counties – Patrick AND Henry – joined us in the fun. It’s always amazing hear the #surrycounty stories from Snoop and how so many of these experiences translate to the big city of CLT and more importantly the farming village of Cotswold.

Never fails that interesting things happen in the wee hours on the streets of Myers Park. On Chilton we encountered an “Amish Jesus” looking soul asking if we had a car to give him a ride home from his night out. Snoop almost said “Yes come walk with us to the cars” not telling him we had another 3 miles to go #flyingEHfail.

As expected we heard some #countrylawyer stories from Dredd and how one man’s “technicality” in the courtroom is another man’s freedom.

After COT I was thrilled to hear the stories of co-ed #kravmaga class and the 21 feet rule for knife fights. Never hurts to be #sheetzready
