Nothing But the Greatest Hits

The BackBlast:

Everyone’s favorite lead did not disappoint this morning. 10 showed up and got to experience Lee’s big hits. Just like Led Zeppelin at Live Aid (a big concert that happened in the 80’s) Lee did not mess with the new stuff – just the tried and true favorites.

What We Did –
– A prompt start as Lee took off down Park towards St Pats. We warmed up with stops at Park and Park – SSHs, then mountain climbers at lower St. Pats lot, then down Romney with Peter Parker’s at Linganore and Parker Peter’s at Belgrave.
– We ended up at base of Dead Presidents for Big Hit #1 – the Double Helix with merkins and squats at each cross street as we zippered over to other end where Scott and Kenilworth split.
– 25 minutes later we gathered for some Mary before heading over to the Atrium Mega Deck.
– An abbreviated hit #2 in the deck – 1 trip up the ramp with merkins and squats at top, back down and 1 trip up the stairs to top for some more merkins and squats.
– A Lee lead is never complete without a trip to WaverLee where hit #3 included 2 trips up – 1 being backwards.
– From there, we moseyed back up Romney to grinder. On way back we partnered up for merkins/backwards run team work.
– Made it back to grinder right on time.

Moleskin –
The double helix always results in higher mileage. Today was no different as we hit 5 miles. Those brave enough to attend included –
Skyline, Dos Equis, Sausage, Cream Cheese, Scrooge, Tassels, Glad Hander, 40 Thieves, Khloe and Lee.
– Good to see Glad Hander back. He has been doing pro-bono legal work for the GOP after negotiations with the president because he once hosted a DEI golf fund raiser.
– Also good to see XX back after backpacking in Patagonia and romancing all the MILF’s on the expedition. He was a bit late today, but luckily was able to use his speed to catch up.
– Big morning for Cream Cheese. He got free fresh eggs from Scrooge and an Eagles NFC Championship game terrible towel from Tassels. It’s all down hill from here.
– Today’s executive workout representative was MLF. He skipped the 5 miles and went for the breakfast sandwich at Common Market.

– Next week, Latta has L10 scheduled to lead. I will believe it when I see it. Enjoy the Masters this weekend.

Late Edit –
– Evidently Sheep went to the Masters and that’s why he did not participate. Tassels was supposed to announce this – he did not. What Tassels did tell us was that the life of pine trees is only about 10-12 years, and they are very fibrous.
– Scrooge wanted everyone to know about BroRuck on 5/17 at 11:30 am. You get to walk to 6 breweries. I believe he is picking up the tab as well.
