Opening Ceremonies

Summer just-in-time-Q rules were in effect. YHC snagged the Q at 5pm last night. Easy theme:

The Thang:
Opening mosey 1 lap around the Foxrcoft Swim stadium. Over to gymnastics at the busiest 4way stop in Foxcroft. Then to Track and Field: we knocked out the 400m, 800m, 1200m(?) with stops for diving (Louganis’s), cycling (FreddyMercurys), good old AmericanHammers, and, of course, merkins… mosey up to Sharon Elementary for the rings (pullups), some tennis (whatever Chappy does when he Qs), and basketball (shuffles, suicides)… 1 solo hurdle on the way back to Foxcroft Swim. Closing ceremony of 1 lap around the island. Fin.

Moleskiner:
We covered a lot of events but missed speedskating (ApolloOhnos, BonnieBlairs)- i will do better… 3.3mi on the strava and most of that was 1min-2min-3min down-and-backs. Hat tip to Aquafresh idea there… Chalet got the gold medal in track with Cornwallis on the silver. Meanwhile, KY is a sandbagger… Gotta say, YHC probably on the podium in pullups since Titan’s bicep is still mending. ReddFoxx is too swole to do pullups. Wait, what? PeaShooter got the gold for overall performance in the septa-duo-cathalon but passed on the medal (a donut)… Related- Brolympics is on for Saturday 7/27 in Waxhaw. Meathead events such as keg throw and AYG swings. Contact yhc for details… We did the closing lap on the wrong side of the road for Cornwallis and jolly old England.
