Run Stack Run Unstack

AO: Atlas

When: 07/29/2020

QIC: Carrier

Number of Pax: 6

Pax Names: BlackJack, Coach, Cracker, Ozzie, Sauerkraut, YHC,

The BackBlast:

0525 YHC is standing alone at starting spot.  Ozzie arrives from his long commute from Plaza-Midwood.  Yea! when 2 or more are gathered … Wait! Coach, Sauerkraut appear in the gloom.  From the flanks, Cracker rolls in on a bike “Madras-style”.  It’s 0530 and we pick up Blackjack – our 6th.  The perfect half-dozen.  And we off.

Disclaimer: I had 5 minutes before my bedtime to plan the workout.  All F3 men go to bed at 2130 (military time makes 9:30 pm look more manly).  So the plan was as follows:

Run and stack on exercises as we cover whatever territory that the pax decide to go.  That was the plan, and that is what we did.

Details:

Mosey to First Citizen for SSH x20 and instructions and expectations for the pax, while we do the Grapevine stretch.

Count off and each pax lead us for a 2 minute mosey to where they decide and call an exercise. We stacked the exercises up and then unstacked them, each time ending with SSH x10 led by YHC.

Blackjack – Merkins
Sauerkraut – 5 burpees/20 LBCs/5 more burpees
Ozzie – bearcrawl a distance he called
Cracker – Mountain Climbers x20 (10 each leg)
Coach – Flutter

We covered 3+ miles and did:
110 SSH
90 Merkins
70 Burpees
140 LBCs
~100 yard Bear Crawl
60 Mountain Climbers
20 Flutters

And we sweat a good bit.

Sauerkraut is a divining rod for downhill sections.
Cracker can do bear crawls slowly when he has to.
Coach’s new nickname is Pinnacle or Peak for short.
Ozzie has no shame in calling out bear crawls so we have to do them along a sidewalk on Randolph. (or at least some of us did them)
Blackjack has personally committed to keeping Menchies afloat.

Until the next time, or whenever I’m called up (or is “texted up”) to Q.
