Sharks & Minnows

The BackBlast:

Three of those PAX—YHC, Slaughter, and Voltage (visiting from Charleston)—launched at 0515 for a pre-run. Sausage was a minute late and missed the fun, which is ironic because you’d think a guy named Sausage would be better at linking up on time.

The Main Event kicked off at 0530. Pretty straightforward: out the back door of Eddie’s Place, through the Griddy Sausage hood (which, let’s be honest, sounds like a questionable stop on a pub crawl), stopping along the way for some quality work.

Crossed over Sharon Amity onto Ferncliff, where PAX somehow enjoyed the Merkin+1 at each garbage can. Mental note made—clearly, trash day and push-ups go hand in hand.

Rolled into Dredd’s hood for some classic partner work, because misery loves company.

Final Evolution
Back into UMPC for SHARKS & MINNOWS. That’s right. Grown men, 40+ years old, playing a schoolyard game at 0600. That’s not what most men do—but we never said we’re like most men. It was a hit. Nobody got injured, everyone was confused. Which, at this stage in life, feels about right.

/Comment/
We had one FNG this morning. Straight outta Dublin and fully committed to the Stars and Stripes, our newest brother showed up *all in* on America. So we did the only logical thing—named him Tex. God Bless the USA… and whatever’s left of his Irish accent.

Prayers were shared.
