Well, I’ll state the obvious here and that is this whole Covid thing has gone on too long and has had many side effects, nay of which we never saw coming. YHC did to some degree and so i think did a number of our pax. The world has changed. As for me one of the big changes was posting in Metro, the place i started, where the entire movement started. I just don’t get to do it anymore. So, when Van Winkle scheduled a Core workout uptown last week YHC showed up and got to reconnect with a lot of guys. And in the process committed to leading Attila this Friday. So as the cars pulled into the parking deck Sharona advised me to give him my keys as there are issues up there now. Hate that but this is part of the change we have to deal with. Then we got after it:

Grapevine and are stretches then mosey to the top of the deck. Which was not lit. Oh well! Just going to have to watch the glass. It was gated and locked which indicated we might have minimal concerns. Then this:

SSH X 20
IW X 20
Concrete Pickers X 20 (Nibs wasn’t sure what this was)
Mtn Climbers X 20

Prepare for a 4 corners escalator that went like this:
Corner 1: 10 burpees
Corner 2: 10 burpees + 20 big boy situps
Corner 3: 10 burpees + 20 big boy situps + 30 CDDs
Corner 4: 10 burpees + 20 big boy situps + 30 CDDs + 40 squats

Mosey down the stairs to the parking lot for some DORA 1-2-3
Work: 100 Merkins, 200 Russian Twists, 300 plank jacks
P1 – run to the top of the stairs and back, Pickup P2’s work.
P2 – Start the work.

Move up to the rails for additional work.
10 outboards
5 reverse crunches
2 inboards

Decrement outboards by 2. Increment inboards by 2. Stay at 5 on the crunches. Go until we are at 2 on outboards, 10 on inboards.

Mosey to the lower deck where we are parked and do a 2 per turn Bear Crawl Slalom!

Finish with a 2-1/2 minute plank.

Great to see some guys I haven’t seen in a long time. Senor Chips, Charcoal, several others. Monk and Nomad from Red Platoon, GTE 24, and of course. the man, the myth, the legend, Nibbler himself! Been too long men!

Attila has evolved, a bit smaller and more intimate which is a good thing. Missed seeing some other guys but in due time that will happen as well. Glad My Sharona asked me to lead . Man runs a quality site. Top of the deck has one of the best early morning views of the New Jerusalem as you will ever find. Do yuorelf a favor and post here.
