It was Tiger Dog's 63rd Birthday this week, and to celebrate he led 3 workouts over the course of the week. It started with Punch Bowl, continued with Razor's Edge and culminated with the epic trilogy conclusion at Revolution. Tiger dog is a big Lord of the Rings fan, so he naturally had the Q be LOTR themed. The workout started with a warm up that included troll squats and merkins, and then we went down to the Mines of Moria (aka the park) to do some dips and gold lifts (where we did dwarfen chants while acting out a squat lift). From there, we went to the hill and did a Smeagol Squat walk to the Precious, only to spring up the hill once we grabbed his ring. We paid tribute to smaug by doing burpees at the top of the mountain (aka hill). After a dangerous attempt at a circle of merkins, we ran to the swamp (aka a field where there was a wedding setup) and we doged through the poles to avoid the orcs and goblins. (This was also when someone led a rendition of "Vicky's Mom" to the tune of Stacy's mom). Then, we made a dash towards where we started at Revolution park. Once we reached there, we mounted our trusty steeds and blew hornes of victory (aka the Monty Python and the Holy Grail theme song). A truly spectacular Q by Tiger Dog. It was indeed The Return of the King.
