Strong crowd of 16 showed up for Bandit on this swampy morning and got after it.

The Thang:

– Mosey to adjacent parking deck for COP: 15 SSHs, 10 merkins, 10 mountain climbers.
– Run to bottom of Norton for beginning of modified Regicide – run to top 20 merkins, back down 20 merkins; Mary for the six
– Run to next street (Hopedale) – Repeat as before, but add 15 squats at top and bottom
– Run to next street (Coniston) – Repeat but add 10 jumping lunges at top and bottom
– Run to next street (Ardsley) – Repeat but add 5 burpees
– Start heading back to each street doing the same exercises at each street and see how far we can get; When clock reaches 6:10 take it back to AO.

Skins:
An actual shovel flag got planted at Bandit today. I’m not sure if I’ve seen that in the few years I’ve been posting here, but it brought out a good, strong group of (mostly) Bandit regulars. Note that the flag was not brought by site Q Marilyn, but rather What Did exercising his metro nan’tan-ness. Either way, it was a good start to a tough, somewhat monotonous workout that clocked about 3.5 miles, 250 merkins, 150 squats, 60 jumping lunges, 10 burpees, and several minutes of Mary. We made it back up Hopedale so only didn’t repeat the Norton up and back. Strong work fellas.

Big Rig’s brother in law showed up and was dubbed Abe Froman, the Sausage King of Chicago, from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Welcome Abe Froman and hopefully he shows his face again, unlike the character.
