The BackBlast:

The scheduling took months to sync up but we did it. No FNGs or slow guys so it was ring run time, Westside style…

The Thang:
Circle up at 50yd line for COP (birdfeeders/disclaimer always)… From there, we moseyed down Brentwood Place, over to Cowles Rd and thru that neighborhood (Beech Nut Rd, Mayflower Rd, Phillips Ave, and back to the park. We accomplished some (always overlooked) sideways work (shuffle, karaoke) as well as mary and merkins and core and shovel flag carrying. We moseyed like native americans and Chuck Woolery and just regular at other times… back to the park fence facing Remount. 7s of fence jumpers and jump squats- we made it to about 4. The 3-rail fence was one rail too high… Partner up at the jungle-less gym for 3 sets of pull-ups with plank rest between. Perfect pairing of 2s… to the football field for 50yds of bear crawl serpentine… merkins/table/burpees for the big finish. Fin.

Naked Man Moleskin:
It felt like more than 2.2miles but strava don’t lie… and it was definitely 2 televisions for the taking… we almost EH’ed our new friend on the corner of Norma/Mayflower. Alas he was scared of Scrooge’s speed. Keep headlocking, fellas… by the way, Chuck Woolery’s are 2 burpees every other house/driveway/lightpost/whatever. 2 and 2… shocker: Beethoven did movie reviews during the workout. Go see Oppenheimer and to a lesser extent, Barbie. Beethoven’s bro always received a distinguished award recently. Congrats… Backup and Yuengling are Savannah Bananas at heart… long distance pax of the day was Lynchpin, all the way from the farming village of Cotswold- well done… coffeeteria on South Blvd felt like a long drive. Let’s target a spot west of the workout next time?
