Lessons from GrowRuck24:  ruck muscles differ from running muscles, mental strain accelerates physical exhaustion, when in doubt- keep pounding.  The crew was tested on all lessons today in the mild August gloom

The Thang:
First the route: out the portal, past the security detail, left onto Colony, past Fairview to Sharon View.  Stops for various crowd pleasing stretches as hopefully nobody gets hurt today (foreshadowing)… Hill climbs up the big Sharon View hill to Mountainbrook Rd, then the other way to Titan’s crib, then back up Colony to Fairview.  Time enough to go down Fairview hill to Foxcroft East pool and back to Fairview/Colony.  Then back thru portal to home… various Mary and merkins thru all of this including solo handslap merkins, diamonds, wide-arms, chuck norris merkins, table, JLo’s, LBCs, heels to heaven, freddy mercurys, and mercury freddys.  back to home 6:16am.  Whoopsies.

Moleskin:
By the time the pax headed down the hill on Fairview, they were discombobulated, sweatin like pigs and it was still dark.  Pothole was about to make the turn and saw Tardy flyin back up the hill.  He sidestepped Tardy- right into Bene!  Boom.  Just in time for football season- nobody was hurt and by several accounts Bene got the best of it- taking advantage of an off-balance Pothole.  The biggest threat was the 6am traffic… great crew, goldilocks-sized 10 pax.  Apologies for the hills but YHC needs to get back into RingRun form: 4.2miles on the strava… looking forward to seeing the majority of you again at MMJ show tonight!

Announcements:

Blood drives everywhere.  OneEye on Saturday Sept 11 at his pad on Camilla @timwielechowski.  Also an F3 blood drive coming up- cant find date… convergence on Labor Day Monday Sept 6 at 0600 at Symphony Park by South Park Mall.  If you want to check out the new AO Lift n Shift a week early- YHC on Q this Monday at 0530- same spot.  half kettlebells, half bootcamp.  we have extra bells if needed.
