Naked Man Moleskin:
The Virtual Workout happened and is a thing right now — Thank God for technology. I admit that I am a hard #Cat3 so committing to post and even lead one of these was submitting to something against my will. It seems like we are doing a good amount of that lately, that’s a healthy thing I guess. Instill discipline in your life and do better every day. #GameOfInches.
While this was not like meeting in person for a workout, it is definitely something and it can be effective. I do hope this doesn’t go on too much longer, Uncle is ready to get back at it and post.
I got more than a workout than I would have gotten laying in the #fartsack. So for all of the #Cat2 out there that are not working out with a #shieldLock. I highly recommend this. Also, it’s a good way to build some relationship maybe with guys you may not workout with otherwise in your region and also around F3 Nation.
I tried to stick to some core Combine principles —> swing the bell, move your body fast, and do not rest until the 45 minutes is over.
I haven’t seen @Nash in a long time (other than running fast around #Cotswold shirtless) so I’m glad I got to workout with him. His voice is soothing – admit it. I’m pretty sure he ran about 1 mile every round of 4 minutes.
The bearded beast @Grizz had a SHOVEL FLAG planted for the occasion so there was a sense of normalcy.
Couple of observations for a #VirtualQ
- Use timed runs as necessary to keep the heart rate up
- Don’t try cadence counting, go all OYO or timed
- Keep exercises simple, the pace quick, and make your workout HARD.
- Plan the exercises ahead
- Wear a headset if you can so you don’t have to get to close to the computer/phone to hear
Nice work and a backblast to boot!
Well done.
