Wormed and Cored for 11th Anniversary Convergence

11th anniversary convergence was conducted on the hallowed, muddy ground of AGMS. 59 like-minded men of purpose posted.

@F3Metro Q1 Pitino delegated convergence mayhem to your always emotionally vulnerable el Shinola. COP on soaked playing field kicked off convergence. RevFLOrida was tasked to coddle a large group of Core disciples that involved ax-throwing and a stop at Bojangles. Ok, only ax-throwing actually happened. Regular cast members Nabisco, Stogie, and site Q Tormund of Saturday’s best (read: only) 0600 workout the WORM took three splinter groups for rolling tours of Selwyn Elementary, Alexander Graham Middle School, and Myers Park High School. Attendee ages ranged from 16 to 76-years-old. Mud was a big plus-up, everywhere. As expected there was considerable smack-talking of how inadequate every aspect of the workout truly was. Near 70-degree temperature and 100% humidity was semi-tropical New Year’s Day event. Another COP reassembled the pax followed by a COT special prayer to conclude.

F3Metro guys come in all types and stripes, no doubt. Smart, stupid. Handsome, homely. Nice, raving bat-flipping fools. Muscle-heads, soccer arms on pencils. Back hair, smoothly Brazilian waxed. Highly empathetic, no EQ. The yin-yang is endless. Yet after 11 years, the common denominator, the foundation of the organization remains resonant today: the F3 magic-mojo of fitness, fellowship, and faith; the five core principles; the credo: Leave No Man Behind, Yet Leave No Man Where You Find Him; the mission to plant, grow, and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership.
